SummerNature-oriented Recreation! Summer Pleasures… During the summer months you can follow your hobbies as you please in the immediate vicinity, e.g. with playing golf. As guest of Hotel Mauthäusl you get a Greenfee-reduction in the Golfclub Berchtesgadener-Land/Weng and in the Golfclub Ruhpolding e.V.  Horse drawn carriage rides are organised and started direct in front of our hotel.Or you use the opportunity to discover the close-by mountains on a fantastic hiking tour. A cool bath in Thumsee, a wonderful mountain lake with very clear water, which is only a few kilometres away from Mauthäusl, is an ideal ending of a hike. The numerous castles, ruins and palaces of the region are also worth seeing. If you are a fan of funsports such as rafting, canyoning or rock climbing you will take delight in the Adventure-, Sports- and High Ropes Course where you can meet an unusual, sportive challenge. In case you want to spend a more recreative day, visit the nearby Märchenpark (fairy tale park). A trip to Siegsdorf is also worthwhile, where you can find out everything about the stone age life (Mammutmuseum). A visit to the Salzbergwerk in Bad Reichenhall or the Heilstollen Berchtesgaden is exciting to every time of the year. We will be glad to inform you about guided tours and entry-times. Last but not least, we are pleased to organise concert- or theatre tickets in the Mozart town Salzburg as well as the surrounding area. Further interesting places of excursions: Chiemsee, Königssee, Kampenwand and Salzburg. |
